Meanwhile, weekly active users increased from 893K to 973K, indicating a consistent rise in user engagement.

The AIB Mobile app experienced an initial dip in weekly downloads, reaching a low of 1.4K in early August before climbing back to around 2K by September. Active users saw a positive trend, increasing from 482K to over 503K by the end of the quarter.

For Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking, weekly downloads remained relatively steady, ranging from 1.1K to 1.4K. Active users hovered around 280K, showing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

The permanent tsb app had lower download figures, starting at 915 and slightly decreasing to 840 by the end of September. However, its active user base grew from 78K to 94K, reflecting increased user activity.

Lastly, bunq showed a significant increase in downloads, particularly in September, peaking at 1.3K. Its active users also followed an upward trajectory, rising from 5K to over 6.5K.
